Language Belgium
In Belgium, the two primary languages spoken are Dutch and French. With a smaller German-speaking community in the east of the country. Dutch, known as “Flemish” in Belgium, is spoken by the majority of the population, particularly in the northern region of Flanders. French is spoken mainly in the southern region of Wallonia and in the Brussels-Capital Region. German is spoken by a minority in the German-speaking community. Which is located in the eastern part of the country, near the border with Germany.
Currency
In Belgium, the currency is the euro (€). The euro is the official currency of most European Union countries. It was introduced as electronic money on 1 January 1999 and as physical coins and banknotes on 1 January 2002. Since then, it has been the only legal currency in Belgium.

Belgian cuisine is known for its hearty and flavourful dishes, influenced by French, Dutch, and German culinary traditions. Some of their favourite dishes are: moules-frites, Flemish beef stew, waffles & speculoos.

Summer (June to August) boasts warmer temperatures and extended daylight hours, perfect for outdoor adventures. Autumn showcases mild weather and stunning fall foliage, ideal for hiking, cycling, and sampling seasonal specialities like game dishes and beer. Winter exudes its own charm, especially during the festive season when cities like Brussels, Bruges, and Ghent are adorned with Christmas lights and markets, offering a magical ambiance.
